About
Best known for fronting the influential and beloved group Chromatics, Los Angeles-based artist Ruth Radelet solidified her solo career with her debut EP “The Other Side,” listed as #9 in Gorilla vs. Bear’s top 30 EPs of 2022. Written over the course of two years and recorded with friend and producer Filip Nikolic (formerly of Poolside), The Other Side showcases Radelet’s timeless voice and classic take on songwriting.
After the release of “The Other Side,” Radelet was featured on tracks by Soft Kill and Krakow Loves Adana, and again teamed with Nikolic for two singles of her own. She released a stripped down cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Leaving the Table” and returned to a shimmering dream pop sound with “Shoot Me Down.” Radelet headlined a sold out show at Zebulon in Los Angeles, traveled to Australia to perform at Rising: Melbourne, and shared the bill with collaborators Soft Kill as part of Rough Trade’s Indie Ballroom concert series, held at NYC’s legendary Rainbow Room.
In 2023 and 2024, she opened for veteran artists Wild Nothing, Metric, STRFKR, Chromeo, and the Midnight. In 2025, she contributed to the soundtrack of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, an acclaimed story-based video game by developer Don’t Nod.
